All our simulators come with custom-made screens to fit the dimensions of your room. The screen lead time is about 4 weeks. While we wait for the screen to be completed, we will prefab the majority of the upholstery work to go on the ceiling and walls. A few pieces of the upholstery will need to be made on site to ensure a perfect fit. All other items will be ordered within this 4-week period as well. Installation on site is one week. This makes the entire process about 5 weeks from start to finish.
The ideal size for a golf simulator room is 16ft wide by 10 ft tall. The main reason for this is that this is perfect dimensions for projector aspect ratios. Meaning, we can fill the entire screen wall to wall without having to alter anything. Depending on the launch monitor that is chosen and whether it is necessary for both right and left handed golfers the room can be as small as 12ft wide.
From all our experience the best indoor launch monitor is Foresight Sports Falcon model or GC Hawk depending on if you want to do multi-sport. We do install many other launch monitors depending on budget such as Tru Golf Apogee, FlightScope, Trackman, Foresight GC3, Foresight GC quad and others.
